2. What the App does

WaPulse provides online/offline status information, activity reports, and related notifications for phone numbers you choose to monitor. To provide this service, we use account and device identification, the phone numbers you add, and our server infrastructure.

3.1. Information you provide

  • Phone numbers and display names you enter or select from your contacts (with your permission)

  • Session and device pairing information required for WhatsApp connection features

  • Profile photo data, where the feature is used

  • Support requests and messages you send us

  • Device identifiers (e.g. device ID, operating system, app version)

  • IP address, language, time zone, connection data, and usage logs

  • Subscription and in-app purchase status

  • Push notification subscription ID (OneSignal)

  • Analytics events (Firebase Analytics)

Depending on how you use the App, we may request:

  • Notifications — alerts about status changes

  • Contacts — to select people to monitor (only if you grant permission)

  • Camera / photo library — only when a related feature is used

  • Location — only when a related feature is enabled

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA) — on iOS, only if you allow it, for analytics measurement

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country (e.g. in the US or EU) through our service providers. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable privacy laws.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data where technically feasible, subject to legal retention requirements.

12. Third-party platforms (WhatsApp)

WaPulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp and Meta have their own privacy and terms of use. You are responsible for complying with third-party platform rules and applicable laws when using the App.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the App or our website. The current version will be posted on the page where this policy is published.
